Reduce sound levels for AeriteBlower™ Models AB-150 and AB-180 with the installation of our specially engineered mufflers. A decrease in back-pressure and exhaust noise levels provide the benefits of improved motor performance and fuel consumption. Compared to a stock Honda muffler, all model AB-150 and AB-180 mufflers are manufactured of 16-gauge aluminised steel combined with a baked ceramic coating to provide an exhaust system that lasts many times longer than a standard muffler. The model AB-150 and AB-180 mufflers require no special mounting and fit directly to the stock Honda manifold with each model providing a decibel drop of 5.0 dB.* over a standard muffler.

All models of AeriteBlower™ AB-150, AB-150E, and AB-180 direct drive blowers may be fitted with an engineered blower outlet muffler designed to reduce the noise level generated by the high impellor tip speed. IAS blower outlet mufflers are manufactured of 3000 series spun aluminum, 316 stainless steel, and fitted with a custom shaped glass pack blanketing system. Inlets and outlets are standard 5-inch diameter with each compact muffler designed to be slip coupled to the outlet side of the blower housing using marine grade rubber cuffs and stainless steel Kodiak™ clamps. The use of the outlet silencer muffler drops sound level readings by 10.0 dB* while reducing air flow cfm performance rates by less than 5%.

The AeriteBlower™ AB-150 powered by a Honda 9 HP Gx270, or custom requested Honda 11 HP Gx340, may be placed within noise dampening enclosure designed to further reduce the mechanical engine noise and blower noise in and around the inlet area of blower. Along with sound dampening panels mounted on all interior faces, the engineered design of the enclosure allows for air to be drawn in from beneath the blower further restricting reflective sound travel. The installation of the enclosure will provide the benefit of an 8 dB reduction in noise levels.* The enclosure is designed in two halves, opening in a ´clam shell´ fashion to provide quick access to all daily motor checks and service needs. A specially designed access allows for pull cord or key starting of the Honda motor with no need to open the silencer housing. Manufactured of marine grade aluminum with 316-grade stainless steel hardware the AeriteBlower™ AB-150 presents a compact noise dampening package mounted on rubber feet for the best possible isolation.
