Feed conversion ratios
are improved by reducing feed pellet breakage to virtually zero with
the IAS proprietary eductor design. We use our venturi type eductors
to draw feed pellets smoothly into the airflow then out to the pen.
The final stage of pellet delivery utilizing our lined stainless steel
delivery system further reduces the chance of breakage during feed delivery.
Production is maximised by the reduction of downtime. The dynamically
balanced cast aluminum-magnesium impellor eliminates blower vibration
and will provide years of trouble free operation with no maintenance.
Manufactured as a direct drive blower unit, reliability is further improved
by a reduction in the number of moving parts. The Honda engine is prepared
for the marine environment with a protective coating to reduce parts
corrosion and resulting service requirements.
Lower life cycle costs are realized through long lasting component parts,
economical operation and initial purchase price. Parts commonly found
in feeders that routinely wear and require adjustment and replacement
such as drive belts or gears have been eliminated from IAS feeders.
The IAS engineered blower housing maximises blower performance with
minimum horsepower. An economical four-cycle Honda engine equipped with
a low oil shutoff prevents damage when the oil level is low, ensuring
maximum service life.
Use of optional accessories for this feed broadcaster will further reduce
labour requirements and improve feed broadcast control.
